summer has come and passed; wake me up when september ends.

in their impending glory see only death, waiting, spiraling like trails of
smoke or the patterns of vultures in a methane sky.

this was going to be my entry for *ladynaevia's death contest, but moving ate my time. c':
i really love it, and i thought i'd just upload it and let you see than let it gather dust.
it's not a winning piece. it's just one to look at and think about.
